THREE people have been released by police after being arrested in York over drug and theft offences.
North Yorkshire Police stopped a vehicle at about midday on Wednesday in Walmgate, and arrested two men and a woman.
A force spokeswoman said on Thursday that a 46-year-old woman from York was arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle, a 22-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of a theft of a vehicle and possession of class A drugs, and a 29-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of a theft of a vehicle, possession of class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
All three have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
