A ROWLEY Regis man has admitted wounding after a man suffered a serious head injury when he was knocked unconscious outside a Black Country pub.

Nathan Bell, aged 34, of Highmoor Road, denied a charge of wounding Craig Timmins with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm when he appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court.

But he admitted wounding Mr Timmins, who was left fighting for his life, and he was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report by Judge Michael Challinor.

Bell is expected to return to the Crown Court on Thursday May 23 when he will be sentenced for the offence which followed an incident outside the Fox and Goose public house in Greets Green Road, West Bromwich.
