IT will be a family affair when a Cradley church holds a free concert this weekend.
St Peter’s Parish Church, on Church Road, is hosting ‘Choir, Organ and Brass’ on Saturday (May 18) at 2.30pm.
Guest organist Jean Holloway – from the choir of St Margaret’s Church, Hasbury – will lead the performance, with support from her two grandsons.
Jack Bloomer, 17, will play the French horn, while Charlie Bloomer, 13, is on trumpet - both are members of the Hereford Youth Concert Band.
Refreshments and homemade cakes will be served after the concert.
Admission is free, although there will be a collection in aid of the Cradley Heritage Clock Project.
Money is being raised to restore the clock dial from the now-demolished Church of St Luke in Cradley Heath and install it at St Peter’s to keep the memory of St Luke’s alive.

Concerts are held at the church every other month. For details of other concerts visit https://www.stpeterscradley.org/events
