The Nationwide Building Society in Stourbridge has reopened its doors to customers after undergoing a refurbishment.

The former Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Alan Taylor, visited the branch on Saturday, May 4, and held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the new look branch, and to welcome Nationwide members.

The new design includes a new ATM cash machine, a dedicated community area, with news about volunteering, a noticeboard for messages and colouring-in to entertain young children.

Georgia Sproul, 26, who was recently appointed as Nationwide Stourbridge branch manager said: “We’re really pleased to be reopening our branch.

"With this new design we have been able to make better use of the space, to ensure our members continue to have the best branch experience when carrying out their everyday banking.”

Nationwide Stourbridge has been on the High Street for over 40 years.
