A UNIVERSITY student from Stourbridge claims he has totally turned his life around after embracing the Law of Attraction - and he's written a book about his experiences.

Jack Walton, from Pedmore, who is studying for a media and PR degree at Birmingham City University, claims he has transformed his life though positive thinking and he is getting set to publish a book entitled Being The Best You.

The 21-year-old, who went to Ridgewood High School and Halesowen College before heading to university, says he suffered from mental health problems and low confidence for years before "discovering the power of our own mind" after reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

He said: "After practising the Law of Attraction in my own life I’m a totally different person to who I was just a few years ago. I had anxiety and PTSD and wasn’t in a good place at all.

"Now, I’m a mental health advocate and aim to motivate and inspire as many people as I possibly can."

Jack, who has written the book over the last three years while studying, added: "The book has no jargon and it’s a simple guide that absolutely anyone can read. Everyone deserves to be living their best life. I really hope it helps people in their own lives and makes a positive impact.”

He admitted it was tough going writing the book while at university but added: "It wasn't always easy but I was determined to make this a reality."

The 250-page paperback book, which covers goal setting, letting go of the past, mental health and living in the social media generation, will be available to buy on Amazon from June 30.
