STOURPORT stay clear of the Worcester County League Premier Division drop zone after flattening Feckenham by seven wickets.

Feckenham, who are already cut adrift at the bottom, floundered with the bat after being bowled out for 119 in the 30th over.

Ryan Derrick ripped into the early order to claim bowling figures of five for 21 off nine overs while Greg Massingham mopped up with four for 21 from 6.1 overs.

Massingham and Mike Pratt both scored 23 as Stourport strolled to a winning 120 for three in reply after two overs.

Cookley climbed to fourth place in Division One after obtaining a six wicket success over Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social.

Strike bowlers Jack McVey with four for 12 and Danny Soley three for nine combined to oust Oldswinford for 108 all out after 34.5 overs.

Opening bats Jamie Brighton with 40 and Adam Nicholls 31 then laid the foundation for Cookley's convincing response reaching 110 for four in the 27th over.

Bewdley's Premier flight contest with Evesham was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

CHADDESLEY Corbett have climbed to joint second spot in the Worcester County Premier after completing a three wicket win over Pershore.

Bilal Hassan caused early carnage to Pershore's batting by picking up three quick wickets.

Liam Ridings then led a recovery after Pershore had plummeted to 26 for three by reeling off 63 and found support from Charlie Cross with 26 and Alex Clasen on 20.

They enabled Pershore to plunder 170 for eight off 45 overs but it wasn't enough as Chaddesley paced their reply perfectly to reach 171 for seven with 10 balls to spare.

Chaddesley now find themselves level pegging with Astwood Bank, both of them just two points adrift of league leaders Redditch.
