CHURCHGOERS will once again be inviting the community to 'love Stourbridge'.

Churches Together in Stourbridge will be repeating their popular summer fun day Love Stourbridge - which will be held in Mary Stevens Park, Norton, this Saturday (July 20) from midday to 5pm.

The free family-oriented event will include facepainting for children, a climbing wall and live music.

There will also be magicians and games, plus a prayer tent where visitors will be offered words of help and encouragement.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a cream tea - in return for a donation to a charity which Churches Together works with in northern Uganda.

Greg Ellis, senior minister at Chawn Hill Church, said: “I am really encouraged by this – the church as it should be, a blessing to the community.

"Last year thousands turned up and had a great family time, and we hope to see even more this year.

"It is great just to put on something free for our lovely town to show what love and appreciation can be."
