FREE vegan food samples and recipes will be on offer at Stourbridge Town Hall this weekend when it plays host to the Stourbridge Vegan Festival.
The event, organised by Shena Louise, from Pudz Animal Sanctuary, will take place from 10am to 4pm this Saturday (August 10) and will feature a host of stalls selling hot food, cakes, beauty products, clothes, bags and ice cream.
There will also be talks, information and advice on how to be a vegan.
Shena Louise, from Lincolnshire, said it's the second time she has organised the event at the town hall and she added: "The rising popularity of veganism just goes to show how an increasing number of people are interested in ending their consumption of animal products for the benefit of animals, the environment and their own health."
Proceeds from the event will go to charity and several animal rescue and protection groups, including Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country, will be represented on the day.
Admission is £2 on the door and free for children.
