CHILDREN in Blackheath and Cradley Health can enjoy a free breakfast at their local library this summer.

'Cereal Readers' takes place in both libraries over the summer holidays and invites children and their carers to share a bowl of cereal, some fruit and toast as they enjoy a book and craft activities.

Councillor Bob Lloyd, cabinet member with responsibility for libraries, said: "The staff and volunteers do a wonderful job in our libraries putting on events. Cereal Readers is one of the many things taking part in libraries for families during the school holidays and I'd encourage everyone to pop to their local library this summer."

'Cereal Readers' takes place at Blackheath library every weekday from 10am to 11.30am and at Cradley Heath library every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 11.30am.
