AN OLDBURY care home is celebrating a glowing report after inspectors paid a visit.

Dingle Meadow has been rated as 'Good' in all areas by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in a new report which states the home is safe, effective, caring, responsible, and well-led.

Inspectors said staff take the time to listen to residents and demonstrate a kind and empathetic approach towards them.

This sentiment was echoed by residents, who made remarks such as “the staff are nice people” with relatives stating “the staff are always attentive” and “very caring”.

The home on Goldencrest caters for around 43 people, some with dementia and is run by HC-One - Britain's largest care home operator.

It has a 9.6 out of 10 rating on the care home comparison website carehome.co.uk

Care home manager, Emma Cuttress said: “We are extremely pleased with this outcome and I am very proud that each member of our team displays such kind care and hard work each day.”

HC-One managing Director, James Ilesanmi said: “This 'Good' rating is fantastic news.

"I would like to thank the whole team for their commitment and hard work and congratulate them on such an impressive report.

“We are dedicated to achieving our aim of being the care provider of choice for those looking for the very best care and support, and employer of choice for the best, most professional, and kindest care staff.”
