A TEENAGER and a woman were arrested after police chased a suspected stolen car at the Waterfront.
Officers found a hammer and knife in the car after police pursued the vehicle on Waterfront Way in Brierley Hill at around 8.15pm last night (Monday, November 11).
The chase began after the car failed to stop, leading to police deploying a stinger.
At the end of the pursuit, a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.
A 35-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer after she allegedly spat at an officer and also on suspicion of taking a vehicle without authority.
Both remain in police custody today, Tuesday November 12.
