A SOLDIER has come to the end of his 24 year career in the army.
During his time in the army Simon Moore served in Northern Ireland, Kosovo,Bosnia, Iraq, Cyprus, Germany, Canterbury and Maidstone. He worked his way through the ranks from Private to SS Major.
On November 19 Mr Moore left the army and is living in and working in Kirkham near Blackpool. His parents Lesley and. Garry are very proud of what he has achieved in the last 24 years.
Mr Moore went to Pershore High School. When he left School he started working at the Berkeley arms training to be a chef and going to Worcester college. He then worked at the Green Dragon Hotel in Hereford. He was a qualified chef at the age of 17. Then he joined the army in 1995.
Mr Moore married Helen in 2007 and is a dad to Cai.
