HAMPSHIRE police rushed to a man after crashing his car down a bank in New Milton today.
Police were alerted to the accident after the man hit a patch of black ice.
There were no injuries and the incident was tweeted by Hants Roads Policing at 10.02am.
Hampshire police and South Central Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
This comes as a "cold weather alert" was issued by the Met Office, predicting a 70 percent probability of severe cold weather, icy conditions or heavy snow between 6pm on Sunday, January 19 and 6pm on Tuesday, 21 January.
The Met Office issued the warning on Friday, January 17.
