POLICE have appealed for the public's help to trace a man who tried to get into a house in Halesowen.
Officers said the man was seen trying to get into a house on Merrivale Road as well as trying to open the boot of a car.
He was captured on CCTV at around 5am on Saturday January 18.
Police have released a short portion of CCTV footage in the hope that someone might know who the man is.
A force spokesman said: "We want to speak to him after we believe he tried to enter a property and open the boot of a car on Merrivale Road, Halesowen.
"It happened at 5am on Saturday 18th January and we are appealing for anyone who recognises him or who has any information to contact us.
