A MAN was hit by a lorry in Oldbury this afternoon.
The accident happened on Shidas Lane near the tip at around 1.57pm.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.57pm to reports of a collision involving a lorry and pedestrian on Shidas Lane in Oldbury.
"We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) team.
"We treated one patient, a man, who was the pedestrian, for injuries not believed to be life threatening.
"He was then taken to Sandwell Hospital for further treatment.”
Police were also at the scene.
