BOOKWORMS in Rowley Regis, Oldbury, Blackheath and Cradley Heath can still get their favourite reads online thanks to a free service run by Sandwell Council after libraries shut their doors.
All libraries in Sandwell are now closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Sandwell Libraries are providing instant access to BorrowBox - a free eBook and eAudiobooks service.
New customers can join online at www.sandwell.gov.uk/librariesonline
Customers will receive a temporary membership number, and an email alert which includes a link to create a PIN number.
Customers can then sign up to BorrowBox and begin borrowing items immediately.
All libraries across the Sandwell borough have extended the loan period for books borrowed until 30 June 2020.
Customers can renew items up to 12 times online at the e mail address above.
Anyone not online who needs to contact Sandwell Libraries urgently can call 0121 569 4912.
