A MAN has been arrested after police chased a suspected cloned Porsche through Brierley Hill.
Police spotted the car on Tuesday night (April 7) and deployed a stinger after the driver failed to stop.
The driver allegedly tried to escape on foot but police managed to arrest him on Amblecote Road.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police said: "We’ve arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of theft of a car after a car that was suspected of being on false plates was pursued through the Brierley Hill area of Dudley last night.
"The man who was arrested on Amblecote Road just after 8.30pm, remains in police custody today."
