A STABBING in a Frankley street has left a woman in critical condition in hospital.
The woman was found with a stab injury to the stomach in Quarry House Close at around 11.20am on Thursday morning (May 14).
West Midlands Police have launched an investigation to catch the culprit and are appealing for any witnesses who saw a man fleeing the scene.
"House to house enquiries are being carried out and a CCTV trawl commenced," a force spokesperson said.
"Anyone who was in Quarry House Close at around 11am today and saw anything suspicious, a disorder or a man fleeing the scene is urged to contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 and quoting log 1365 from 14/5."
