EIGHT more Dorset care home residents have now died with coronavirus, the Office for National Statistics has revealed.
The figures, released by ONS and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on Tuesday morning, show that 128 people have now died with coronavirus in Dorset care homes.
The BCP Council area has recorded 65 of these deaths, while the Dorset Council area has recorded 63.
Between May 16 and May 22, eight care home residents died in the county with coronavirus.
The most recent care home death recorded by the ONS and CQC in the county came on May 22, when one person died.
As of May 22, 10,636 care home residents had died with the virus across England.
