A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of a string of offences after a car suspected of running on false plates was stopped in Pensnett.
Officers from Brierley Hill station spotted the car on Bryce Road while out on patrol on Wednesday, May 27.
PC Jamie Follows said police had been looking for the car for a few days after suspecting it was running on false plates.
The driver was stopped and searched and the car was found to be cloned.
Police arrested the driver on suspicion of being equipped for theft, possession of a bladed article and fraudulent use of registration plates.
The car was seized under the Road Traffic Act and the man remains in custody while investigations continue.
