Fire crews in Basingstoke were called to two separate incidents last night within minutes of each other.
The first call came at 10.58pm where one team was mobilised to Chapel Hill.
There were two lit BBQs that were extinguished with buckets. This incident was over with by 11.19pm.
But just a minute before that stop call came in, another crew was called out to Corfe Walk.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: "There was a small fire in the road caused by flashing petrol, which was out on arrival.
"Crews damped down with a hose reel and the stop message came in at 11.32pm.
"Police were informed of this incident."
Hampshire Constabulary have been contacted for comment.
