POLICE seized £50k worth of cocaine haul, cash and a gun in a raid on a Halesowen home this morning (Tuesday).

Two people have been arrested after officers executed search warrants at the home in Century Way.

Half a kilo of cocaine - which has a street value of almost £50k, a large sum of cash, three vehicles linked to the people who live at the address, as well as a firearm and ammunition were seized.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "A 33-year-old man from Handsworth has been taken into custody on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and firearms offences.

"A woman, aged 31, has also been arrested on suspicion of firearms and drug related offences.

"Three young children have been safeguarded.
