FROZEN 2 has been added to the bill at Himley Hall's drive-in cinema weekend event next month.

The Disney favourite has replaced Paddington 2 at the noon film slot on Saturday, August 8.

It comes after council bosses were informed by Filmbank Media the licence was unavailable to show Paddington 2.

The Grease sing-along scheduled later that day has fully sold out, but tickets are still available for the Disney double bill on Sunday, August 9 where film goers can enjoy Pixar classic Toy Story at noon followed by The Lion King at 5pm.

Customers who had already bought tickets for Paddington have been informed and given the option to either transfer them over to Frozen 2 or to get a full refund.

Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said: "We are very disappointed that we cannot now show Paddington 2, but delighted that we are able to put on such a great family film as Frozen 2 in its place.

"We hope customers will understand that this change is totally out of our control and we apologise for any disappointment caused.

"Tickets are selling very fast for the drive-in shows which are proving really popular, and we’re delighted Grease has sold out already.

"I would urge people to get in quickly and get their tickets to avoid missing out on a fantastic weekend of great films in an idyllic location."

Tickets costs £20 per car plus VAT and a booking fee and can be booked at www.himleyhallandpark.co.uk.
