A NORTH-EAST NHS Trust has revealed the number of coronavirus patients who have been discharged from its hospitals.
The South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - which runs the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and The Friarage in Northallerton - revealed the latest figures on Friday.
A spokesperson for the trust said more than 700 hospital patients, who had Covid-19, had now been discharged since the outbreak began.
It comes as the total of coronavirus patient deaths recorded by the trust stands at 255 as of 5pm on Thursday, July 30.
The North-East and North Yorkshire has not seen any further Covid-19 related deaths for several days.
As of Thursday, the total number of patient deaths attributed to the virus stands at 1,735 in our region since the outbreak started.
