A 46-YEAR-OLD Halesowen man admitted committing arson when he appeared in court.

Jason Perrin, of Gower Road, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to one count of arson at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

He was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for two years.

He was also ordered to pay £2k compensation and £535 court costs as well as to undertake 180 hours unpaid work.

The court also made Perrin subject to a restraining order, which will stay in place until a further order is made.

Perrin was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Tuesday September 8.
