AN INQUEST into the tragic death of a young father in a workplace accident in Rowley Regis has started today (Tuesday September 22).

Mitchell Pountney died at Cutting Edge Skirting in Rowley Regis, on Monday September 2, 2019.

Medics were called to the firm on Station Road at around 10.57am and found the 23-year-old had suffered multiple serious injuries.

Despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
