KINVER Community Library is reinstating some of its services following its reopening earlier this month.

Although opening hours remain restricted to 10am to 1pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - from October 1 the library will enter phase two of its Covid-secure reopening plan and will be offering computer and photocopying services.

The public can now access the library building to use a computer between 11am and noon on opening days - which can be booked by email or by calling 01384 872348.

Library chiefs say it will be the responsibility of the user to clean the equipment after use and that library toilet facilities are not presently available.

Browsing for books is also not permitted, with the current return and order and collect services remaining in place for borrowers into the immediate future.

However - photocopying is back, subject to a new protocol, with material to be handed over at the library entrance to the volunteer team, who will ensure copying is completed and returned.

For both computer and copying services, the exact payment is required, as no change can be given.

The library team say they aim for a return to full services soon and plans are afoot to resume the book reservation service from other Staffordshire libraries from October 1. For more information go to kinvercommunitylibrary.co.uk.
