PROPOSALS to build a detached house on land in Rowley Regis have been submitted to Sandwell Council.

A planning application has gone in to build a four-bedroom home with parking on land to the side of 103, Throne Road.

If plans get the go-ahead the garage to the rear of the existing terraced house will be demolished.

The proposal, from homeowner Mr Harcharan Sangha, states that: "This in principle is designed to be of similar size, shape and height as the existing fairly new detached house at 104 Throne Road which had permission given in 1999 which would make a symmetrical entrance to Throne Crescent."

A design and access statement notes that the applicant originally wanted to build two terraced houses but after speaking to planning officers, has "had a rethink and wishes to apply for permission to build a single detached house with front and back gardens."
