A MAIN Halesowen road will close later this month.
Whittingham Road will close for one day on Monday October 26.
The road, which Halesowen College is on, will close from Furnace Lane to Greenbush Drive, on the day, which is during half term.
The alternative route for traffic will be via : Old Hawne Lane, Stourbridge Road Roundabout and Furnace Lane and vice versa.
The purpose of the closures is so that workmen can safely replace a defective manhole cover and frame.
Access to frontages will be maintained where safe.
