HIGHWAYS chiefs say a Halesowen street will be closed until Monday while emergency repairs are carried out to fix a burst water main.
A temporary road closure order has been issued for Lyde Green, which has left the road closed to traffic between Middletree Road and Colley Lane until Monday November 16.
An alternative route for vehicles less than 4.3m in height will be via Colley Lane, Bridge Street, Cradley Road, St Anne’s Road, Lower High Street, Forge Lane, Cradley Forge, Maypole Hill and Lyde Green.
Vehicles over 4.3m in height will be diverted via Colley Lane, Bridge Street, Cradley Road, Woods Lane, Forge Lane, Cradley Forge, Maypole Hill and Lyde Green.
Access to frontages will be maintained where safe during the works.
