A MOTORIST was lucky to escape without injury after a car crashed into a lamp-post in Langley early this morning (Saturday November 21).
Firefighters from Oldbury Fire Station attended the incident which happened in Park Lane at around 6.25am.
Luckily no-one was trapped or injured, a spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said.

Firefighters later tweeted about the incident and issued a plea to motorists to " please drive carefully" as the country marks national Road Safety Week.
The initiative, running until November 22 this year, is co-ordinated by road safety charity Brake to try to promote steps people can take to help prevent deaths and injuries on the roads.
