A HALESOWEN homeowner has been given permission to convert their garage into a room.
The owner of 87, Malt Mill Lane, applied to Dudley Council to convert their garage into habitable use.
Dudley Council planners have given the application the thumbs up.
Documents state: "The application site relates a two-storey mid terraced property at 87 Malt Mill Lane, Halesowen.
"The property has attached flat roof garage projecting to the front of the house, with a driveway and garden area.
"The dwelling is located in a residential street of similar house types, design and ages.
"Opposite is small newsagent and to the west some light industrial/commercial units."
The garage doors will be replaced by a window.
