FOLLOW the star for some family fun and Christmas cheer.
That’s the message from churches and a school in Stourbridge who have combined to produce a ‘message of encouragement for the community.’
Children at Oldswinford CoE Primary School have been creating stars which now form a trail that you can follow.
It starts at the Stanley Road entrance of Mary Stevens Park and leads on to the school in Field Lane and then to the end of the trail at St Mary’s Church, Rectory Road.
Families are invited to follow the stars to discover a Christmas surprise.
A mobile phone and QR code will help to complete the trail but are not.
The trail can be followed during the day or in the evening when the surprise will be found, illuminated until 8.00pm.
“In a year when cooperation, sharing and caring has been such an essential support for so many, this collaboration between Chawn Hill Church, Oldswinford C of E Primary School and St Mary’s Church, has provided a focus for the children and an opportunity and message of encouragement to the whole community.”
