TOP chef Stuart Deeley will be dishing up a tasty treat for local students this month - an on-line practical session as part of his Professional Chefs Academy at Halesowen College.

The Professional Masterchef winner 2019 will film a practical session to be shown to students on Monday, January 25, focusing on vegetables and plant based dishes. This will be followed by a live question and answer session.

Angelina Adamo, the owner and chef at Tutto Apposto, will also be speaking to students virtually this Friday (January 15) about her experiences in the catering industry, where she has worked and setting up her own catering business during the first Covid lockdown in March 2020 and its success.

Stuart launched the Professional Chefs Academy and its extended curriculum to help students build on their currents skills and have an insight into the modern fine dining industry.

Stuart, a former student at Halesowen College, will be sharing techniques that he has developed through his experience at Michelin starred restaurants.

Chris Hughes, Chef Lecturer and Course Leader at Halesowen College, said: “We are always grateful to Stuart for all the support he has for the college and for our students. We are working hard to bridge the skills gap due to Covid 19 and introduce more practical sessions and workshops into our courses this year.”
