The work of a Cradley Heath teenager is on display as part of a charity’s virtual art gallery.

The ‘Roses of Love’ have been created by Lily, an 18-year-old local youngster who suffers from epilepsy and acquired brain injury.

Her work is on display in a virtual children’s art galley created by the Rays of Sunshine charity, which brightens the lives of seriously ill youngsters across the country by making their wishes come tue.

All the work in the gallery has been done by children with serious or life-limiting conditions.

Lily’s condition means she has limited speech and mobility. Her artwork is inspired by her garden, which is her favourite happy place with her family.

Each child whose work is displayed has depicted their own interpretation of the theme ‘sunshine, happiness and laughter’ and many of the pieces of art were created during group creative workshops with Rays of Sunshine.

The virtual gallery is now live and can be seen here: https://raysofsunshine.org.uk/childrens-art-gallery/
