TWO 18-year-olds arrested after an extensive police chase in Halesowen involving a drone and force dog unit have been bailed as investigations continue.
A pursuit ensued after police officers were called to Ladypool Close, Halesowen, shortly before 3am on Sunday April 4 following reports of vehicle interference.
Traffic cops, the dog unit, Central Motorway Police Group and the police drone team were drafted in to search the area and, after a lengthy foot chase, officers arrested two young men.
A police spokesman confirmed to the News today: "Two 18-year-olds were arrested on Hagley Road West on suspicion of attempted theft of a motor vehicle, possession of cannabis and going equipped.
"They have been released while our enquiries continue.
