HALESOWEN has a new Street Watch group to crack down on crime.
The Leasowes Street Watch volunteers went on their first patrol earlier this month.
Halesowen Police tweeted: "We would like to welcome our newest @StreetWatchWM group.
"The Leasowes StreetWatch group!
"If you live in the Howley Grange area make sure to say hello!"
Street Watch groups are volunteers who act as extra eyes and ears on the ground to help crack down on petty crime - they do not have police powers but local police keep in regular contact with street watch members to share information and work in partnership.
