A FIRE broke out in a skip in the early hours in Halesowen at the weekend.
Firefighters from Haden Cross fire station in Cradley Heath attended the fire on Mucklow Hill in the early hours of Sunday (April 25).
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "In the early hours of Sunday (April 25) we were called to a fire involving a large quantity of rubbish in a large metal container, on Mucklow Hill, Halesowen.
"A Brigade Response Vehicle from Northfield, a fire engine from Haden Cross and eight firefighters attended the scene."
Firefighters from Haden Cross tweeted about the incident saying: "Green watch out to a skip fire with @WMFSNorthfield on Mucklow Hill.
"Please dispose of waste responsibly. #ClimateCrisis #recycle #protectheplanet."
