A HALESOWEN firm is thriving despite the coronavirus pandemic and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month.

Bradley Environmental has grown from humble beginnings in May 1991 when it was based in one room in Dudley with just six members of staff.

It now employs 140 staff and has been testing respirators for NHS Trusts across the country since last March when lockdown hit.

The firm's main base is in Stourbridge Road.

A company spokesman said: "The business has grown substantially over the last three decades.

"Bradley Environmental now operates nationally from five offices and three satellite locations across the country, employing over 140 staff."

The firm provides workplace health and safety services including; asbestos and legionella management, health and safety consultancy and compliance training courses.

Commercial Director, Chaz Reeves said “Our many years of experience and knowledge has been built on trust, professionalism, strong partnerships with our clients and our dedicated employees.

"This 30-year anniversary milestone has been achieved despite the coronavirus pandemic and we continue to thrive”

At the start of the pandemic in March 2020, the firm invested in providing tight-fitting respiratory protection equipment (RPE) fit testing.

This essential service was provided to several NHS Trusts across the country, and to date, it has carried out over 12,000 tests.

More than 30 of the firm's staff have been with the business for more than a decade.

Founding company Director Brent Walker said: “We are proud to celebrate this milestone, and we look forward to serving our customers for many more years to come."
