STOURBRIDGE firefighters and the RSPCA were involved in a desperate search to try to find a little dog that had reportedly got stuck in a hole in fields off Roman Road, Stourbridge.

Firefighters from the town's station had help from the technical rescue unit and thermal imaging cameras and acoustic equipment were used to try to locate the missing pet after being alerted at around 3.25pm yesterday (Wednesday) .

But sadly the team had to leave the site and by 7.10pm as they departed the Corgi/Jack Russell cross type dog named Harry had still not been found.

The RSPCA also attended but had to leave to attend another animal emergency.

The owners of the dog have reportedly been returning to the area several times since, hoping he will be found. The dog is microchipped and vets have been informed.
