POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing 16-year-old girl who they think could be in Smethwick.
Ellie Williams was last seen on Waddington Way in Kingsway, Gloucester, at 7pm last night (Monday) and has not returned since which has caused concerns for her welfare.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire police said: "It is believed that Ellie may have travelled to the Smethwick area and officers are liaising with colleagues at West Midlands Police.
"Anyone who has seen Ellie since last night or knows of her whereabouts is asked to please call 101 quoting incident 465 of 17 May.
"If seen at the time of calling please dial 999."
Ellie is described as being 5ft 10ins tall, of a heavy build, wears glasses and has very long red hair.
When last seen she was wearing black leggings, a black crop top, dark blue Nike jacket, light pink handbag and pink trainers.
