A MAN has been arrested after a gun was fired during an early-hours row in Oldbury.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm after police were called to a dispute in Vicarage Road at 4am this morning (Saturday May 29).
A stretch of Vicarage Road was cordoned off this morning while officers searched the area.
A house was also being searched.
Specialist teams have been searching the road, looking under cars and in drains for evidence, and neighbours have been interviewed.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We have arrested a man on suspicion of firearms possession after being called to a dispute in Vicarage Road, Oldbury where gunshots were heard just after 4am this morning (29 May).
"A property search is currently underway and the 29-year-old remains in custody for questioning as our enquiries continue.

It comes two years after armed police were called when shots were fired on nearby Vicarage Street.
