PFIZER jabs will be available without an appointment at a new vaccination hub which opens in Halesowen this week.

The vaccine hub will open at Halesowen Yemeni Community Association's cultural centre on Highfield Lane on Thursday June 3.

It will be open from 9.30am till 5pm every Thursday, with jabs on offer to the over 30s without the need for an appointment.

The association is working in partnership with NHS Dudley to stage its Covid-19 vaccination programme.

Marwan Bakaili, chairman of Halesowen/Dudley Yemeni Community Association, said: "This important initiative will focus on all those aged 30 years and over.

"Please come for your Pfizer COVID vaccination.

"The clinic at Halesowen Cultural Centre will be a walk in clinic, you do not need to make an appointment.

"Please try to come throughout the day.

"There may be periods of the day when it gets very busy during these times you will need to wait for your vaccination.

"Vaccines are safe and effective in protecting you and your friends and family.

"Help us to protect your community.

"Please bring some form of identification when you come for your vaccination.

"Please share with your contacts, family and friends and colleagues."
