AN INCONSIDERATE driver found themselves on the wrong side of the law in Old Hill.
The driver of a convertible BMW was slapped with a ticket by police after being found parked on zigzag lines on Halesowen Road.
The zig zag lines were for the pedestrian crossing.
Rowley police tweeted that the driver's day was about to be ruined.
They tweeted: "WARNING: Parking on zigzag lines can lead to you receiving 3 points and a £100 fine.
"For more information on where you can and can't park please visit https://highwaycodeuk.co.uk."
The approach to, and exit from, a pedestrian crossing is marked with zigzag lines.
They mean that you must not park on them or overtake the leading vehicle when approaching the crossing as it would block the view for pedestrians and the approaching traffic.
