DOG grooming students at Halesowen College have raised just under £300 for a rescue charity.
The students have been trying out their skills on the pets of staff at the college and have given any donations to The Animal House Rescue.
The charity helps neglected and unwanted cats and dogs.
It has a charity shop on Oldbury Road, Rowley Regis.
Students have been able to groom a variety of dogs thanks to staff bringing their pets in.
Luanne Gibbs, Course Leader for Dog Grooming, said: “The students have performed really well under pressure and using staff pets has given them the opportunity to do practical work and assessments.
“We are very proud of them all.”
