A TIKTOK star was in Halesowen today filming for a new video.

Official Patchy was spotted out and about in the town centre today (Tuesday June 15).

Eagle-eyed Katie Davies, who is a community covid business adviser for Dudley Council and works alongside Halesowen BID, spotted the well-known TikToker, who has 37k fans on the social media site.

His humourous take on being from the Black Country has attracted over 600,000 likes with thousands watching his videos, proving he is a yam yam and proud.

BID manager Vicky Rogers said: "Katie spotted him. I've never seen her move so fast!

"He was very friendly. He was doing filming in the town for a new You Tube video.

"He's done a video rating towns in the Black Country, so I told him next time he does them we want a ten out of ten for Halesowen!"

Official Patchy responded to a social media post by Halesowen BID by saying: "Big up to all the people that watch my videos in Halesowen.

"Always get shown mad amounts of love when I pass through."

Official Patchy's bio on You Tube, where his videos have garnered 450k views, states that he is aged 22 and an "ADHD, immature, council-housed yam yam, just having a laugh."

It was a high note to end on for Katie, aged 20, (pictured centre below) who is leaving her council role tomorrow to start training to become a police community support officer (PCSO).

Good luck Katie!
