A HALESOWEN-based musical panto group is looking forward to staging its first production since 2019 and is appealing for people to join its ranks.
Startime Variety are performing the panto, called Hercules, which has been written by member Holly Mills, at Cornbow Hall in the town centre in the New Year.
The group will perform the show from Thursday January 27 to Sunday January 30, 2022.
An appeal has gone out for children, from age ten and adults, especially men, to join its ranks.
Spokeswoman Jeanette Greenway said: "After all these months in lockdown we are hoping that people will be keen to strut their stuff on stage.
"It will be the first show we have done since January 2019 when we did Rapunzel.
"We are hoping to start rehearsals in September so we really need new members.
"It's been really difficult for everyone not being able to perform, but we are looking forward to getting back to it."
