SPEED checks have been staged by police in Halesowen to put the brakes on motorists flouting the limit.
Police community support officers from the Halesowen neighbourhood team were in Long Lane and Uffmoor Lane yesterday (Monday July 19).
They said multiple drivers will be receiving speeding tickets.
The roads were selected after residents reported concerns over motorists regularly breaking the limit.
The team tweeted: "Officers from the Halesowen team have conducted further speed enforcement operations on Long Lane after reports of speeding.
"Multiple drivers will be receiving tickets. #SpeedKills #30Means30."
