CARS were stranded in floodwater in Oldbury and outside Tesco in Cradley Heath as the region was hit by torrential downpours.
Shoppers trying to get to the Tesco Extra on Foxoak Street, Cradley Heath, were forced to make a u-turn after heavy downpours caused chaos on the route yesterday (Tuesday July 27).
In Oldbury cars were stranded on Martley Road, near St James CofE Primary School.

Birmingham and the Black Country is set to be hit by more rain and thunderstorms today (July 28).
The Met Office has predicted rain around noon.
Three hours of thunder and showers are then forecast heading into the afternoon from 1pm through to 4pm.
It comes as several amber and yellow weather warnings have been issued for thunderstorms and rain over the next few days across the UK.
