A DOG walker has been fined after they allowed their pooch to poo on a Kidderminster footpath without picking it up.
Wyre Forest District Council enforcement officers issued the £100 fixed penalty notice whilst carrying out a patrol on Comberton Road.
The fine has now been paid by the dog walker.
A council spokesperson said: "There is no excuse for not picking up after your dog as one resident found out when our enforcement officers were carrying out a regular patrol in Comberton Road, Kidderminster.
"On their travels they spotted a dog walker allowing their dog to poo on a footpath and then walk away without picking it up.
"The dog walk turned out to be expensive as our officers issued a £100 fixed penalty notice. The fine has now been paid.
